Fashionistas flock to our Facebook app

The final results are in on the Facebook competition app that we designed, built and maintained for Fashion World – we couldn’t be happier (and neither could our client)!

After getting off to a brilliant start, the app, which gave customers the chance to win £100 each for themselves and two friends to spend on fashion by ‘liking’, continued to draw stylish shoppers in.

The Fashion World Facebook page gained over 10,000 new ‘likes’ in the three months that the competition ran.

The social media manager for Fashion World, said:  “Creative Vein came up with some fantastic, innovative ideas on how to build our brand profile via Facebook, and they specially designed the competition app to fit in seamlessly with our wider marketing strategy and perfectly reflect the brand values.

“The app has proved to be incredibly success – more so than we ever could have hoped and with an extremely low comparative cost per acquisitions on our part. A huge thanks to the whole team there!”

Who’s the Dadi?

Those nominations just keep on coming at Creative Vein…

We’ve recently found out that we’re up for a Dadi award for our work on the Doolittle’s Dispensary website.

The Dadis (The Drum awards for the digital industries) recognise and reward digital excellence. There’s always stiff competition to secure a nomination, and we’re absolutely thrilled to have been given the nod by the judges.

The awards ceremony takes place in November; in the meantime, you can read more about our work on the Doolittle’s Dispensary website.

Facebook app success

We’re beyond thrilled that the latest Facebook application we’ve worked on is doing so well.

Our client Fashion World asked us to design and build an app to host their new Facebook competition, with the aim of generating ‘likes’ and shares to increase brand profile.

Customers who ‘like’ the page get the chance to win £100 each for themselves and two friends to spend on curve-loving fashion. They can select the two friends to share the prize with via the app, which then automatically generates a post on the friends’ walls, encouraging them to like the page and enter themselves. 

In addition to the app we also designed and built a direct email, sent to Fashion World’s entire customer base, which promoted the competition and the other benefits of becoming a Facebook fan of this top fashion brand.

Supported by an externally handled Facebook advertising campaign, the Fashion World page gained over 1,000 ‘likes’ in the first week of the competition going live – that’s nearly a 40% increase in fans.

We’re sure that, following this fantastic start, this three-month competition will continue to be extremely popular; we’ll be updated the app with a new design each month to keep it looking fresh and exciting.

We would like to introduce the newest edition to our team Sarah (a.k.a Storm) - our brand new Copywriter who has over four years' worth of experience in the wonderful world of copy!

She started fresh out of university with a Journalism degree falling into the copywriting industry at Pontins in 2009 and later worked with World Travel Holdings where she gained plenty of knowledge on creating compelling copy for both web and print on a variety of different brands. 

In addition to this, she brings with her plenty of SEO, PR and social media experience, meaning she has bags of skills to offer our clients and is certainly a welcomed addition to the Creative Vein team!
